Periodic road maintenance in Nseleni Interchange to commence

Pietermaritzburg – 6 April 2022 – Road maintenance will be carried out on the Nseleni/N2 Interchange on the R619 from Thursday, 7 April 2022, to Thursday, 14 April 2022, the South African National Roads Agency (SOC) Limited (SANRAL) has announced. This periodic road maintenance will take place in Richards Bay in the Nseleni district.

“This road maintenance will be carried out from Empangeni T-Junction to the Nseleni/N2 Interchange. The road will be open to the traveling public, but delays can be expected as traffic accommodation closures will be erected,” said Serisha Sukraj, SANRAL’s Eastern Region Project Manager.

“We appeal to road users to note and comply with the advance warning signs and speed restrictions when travelling past the construction work zones or alternatively use the John Ross Highway (R34) to join the N2.”
