N14 CLOSED BETWEEN KURUMAN AND VRYBURG DUE TO FLOODING

Northern Cape, 30 April 2026– The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) advises motorists of flooding on the N14 between Kuruman and Vryburg following heavy rainfall in the area.

The road has been closed to traffic as a safety precaution due to flooded sections along the route. SANRAL emergency response teams and relevant authorities are monitoring the situation, and assessments are underway.

The N14 is currently closed until further notice. Motorists are urged not to attempt to cross flooded areas, as water levels and road conditions may be dangerous.

Alternative route: (Kuruman to Vryburg route):

Alternative roads: R31-R374-N12-N18 (Kuruman-Barkley West- Warrenton- Vryburg)

Road users are advised to exercise caution, obey all road signs, and follow instructions from traffic officials on site.
