SANRAL To Sign R7bn Loan Agreement with New Development Bank To Support Toll Portfolio Projects

Pretoria, 21 July 2025 – The South African National Roads Agency SOC Limited (SANRAL) will sign a R7 billion loan agreement with the New Development Bank (NDB) to support its various toll portfolio projects in the country.

Projects that will be supported by the loan include those that are in the country’s key economic corridors such as the N2/N3 national roads project in KwaZulu-Natal, as well as the N1 national road, to mention a few.

The details of the loan signing agreement are as follows:
