The construction of community access roads in Lusikisiki is set to benefit many povertystricken rural communities in the area. The project, which is located within the Ingquza Hill local municipality, includes the construction of community access roads and haul roads near Lusikisiki. Over 4.5km will be surfaced roads through the community. Via the development of local contractors and the use of local suppliers, it is anticipated that the majority of the approximately R38m set aside for the project will remain within the community.
