5	Higginson Interchange	The project comprises a multilevel interchange, including fly-over directional ramps as well as loops to allow high mobility through the interchange. This interchange will carry majority of the dig out port freight traffic.	-	-	Higginson
6	Edwin Swales to south of EB Cloete	The Edwin Swales Interchange will consist of a three-level interchange with fly-over directional ramps and loops to cater for high volumes of traffic from the port.	-	-	Edwin Swales
7	Umgeni to KwaMashu Interchange	Improvements to the N2 between Umgeni and KwaMashu Interchange will consist of 26 structures and additional lanes. This will improve road safety and reduce congestion.	3	5	Inanda Nandi Drive KwaMashu
8	KwaMashu Interchange to Umdloti Interchange	Approximately 13,7km section of the N3 will be upgraded from a two-lane dual carriageway to up to eight-lane dual carriageway.	2	4	Sibaya
